Disney Cruise Line Onboard Credit
When you book your Disney cruise with us, we gift you onboard credit to put toward the moments that make a sailing unforgettable.
Below are the most common questions (and answers) when it comes to onboard credit on Disney Cruise Line. Have a question that we don’t answer below? Please reach out and let’s chat!
-
Onboard credit is money added to your stateroom account that you can spend during your cruise. Think of it as our way of welcoming you aboard, with a little something extra for the experiences you'll remember long after you're home.
-
No, this credit is a gift from us. We arrange it with Disney Cruise Line so it's waiting on your stateroom account when you board, and it works just like any other onboard credit.
-
Your onboard credit is based on your cruise fare. A first Disney cruise booked with us earns our highest credit, and every sailing after that earns credit too. See our onboard credit chart for exact amounts.
-
Your credit is ready when you board and is applied automatically to purchases charged to your stateroom. Our favorite ways to use it:
Dinner at Palo or Remy
A spa treatment
Disney-arranged shore excursions
Onboard photos to take the memories home
Specialty beverages, souvenirs and gifts
-
Onboard credit can't be used for purchases made in port or for excursions booked outside of Disney. It also has no cash value, so any unused credit is not refunded at the end of your sailing. We're happy to help you plan ahead so none of it goes to waste.
-
Onboard credit is available on most Disney Cruise Line reservations booked with Emerald Atlas Travel, including:
New bookings made directly with us
Future cruise placeholders booked onboard with Emerald Atlas Travel listed as your advisor
Existing reservations transferred to us within 30 days of booking
Onboard credit is added to the stateroom account of the guest who books and pays for the reservation. If you're traveling as a group, we're happy to talk through how to set up your bookings.
-
Yes, if you transfer your reservation to us within 30 days of booking. There's no cost to transfer, and your reservation, stateroom and price all stay the same. You simply gain an advisor and a gift for your trip.
-
Absolutely, and it's a great time to do it. Disney offers a special discount on future cruise placeholders booked onboard, with a fully refundable deposit. Let the onboard booking desk know Emerald Atlas Travel is your advisor, and you'll receive our onboard credit too.
-
Our onboard credit can't be combined with other offers or promotions. The one exception is Disney's onboard booking offer: if you reserve a future cruise placeholder while you're onboard, you'll receive both Disney's discount and our onboard credit.

Your onboard credit will be on your stateroom account when you board. If you have any questions once you're onboard, Guest Services can show you your balance.
-
Because onboard credit is based on your cruise fare, it's adjusted if your fare changes. If your reservation is cancelled, the credit is no longer available.
